Vantage Proves Consumers Don’t Have to Sacrifice Effective Cleaning for Environmentally Friendly Detergents at SEPAWA Congress
Mild, Sulfate-Free Lumisolve* Taurate Surfactants Clean as Effectively as Traditional Counterparts in High-Performance Laundry Formulation for the First Time
Consumers want to use less harsh cleaners that don’t harm the environment or dry out their skin. However, they want products that clean as well as their traditional counterparts.
To help its customers meet this need, Vantage will demonstrate for the first time how milder, sulfate-free, taurate surfactants can be used in high-performance laundry detergents with its Lumisolve* portfolio. These products offer high formulation stability, powerful stain removal, color and fabric protection, and softening effects to the fabric – along with the biodegradability and skin mildness that defines this next generation of homecare, institutional, and industrial (HI&I) cleaning products.
The company will share new formulations that clean effectively and improve the end-user experience with enhanced formulation feel, as well as meet consumer sustainability trends with traceably sourced ingredients.
Vantage has recently completed a formal life cycle assessment (LCA) and product carbon footprint (PCF) evaluation for the Metaupon* and Lumisolve* portfolios to better support transparency, regulatory compliance, and sustainability, as well as has significantly expanded its taurate production at its European manufacturing hub in Leuna, Germany to meet growing demand.
These ingredients will be showcased at the SEPAWA Congress in Berlin from October 15–17, where Vantage will also share new science about natural oils like jojoba, cacay, and tucuma, which help hydrate and protect skin during cleaning and laundry tasks.
Presentation:
Vantage will present new data on its traceable natural oils’ portfolio. Nuria Marimon, Technical Manager, Personal Care Europe, will deliver a technical presentation detailing the performance and traceability of cacay, tucuma, and jojoba oil.
