LIPONATE® BDP is a paste-like ester with smooth spreadability and touch. Although viscous, this material is easy to use in formulations and was developed as a substitute for lanolin.
In lipsticks and color cosmetics, LIPONATE BDP adds a glossy finish and increases color payoff, leaving vivid color on the lips. It creates a strong stick structure while still providing a creamy application and feel and improves smoothness and glide.
In skin care formulations, it provides a substantive film to protect and moisturize the skin. In hair care, LIPONATE BDP adds structure and glide to hair styling products such as pomades and hair waxes.
