BIOACT™ 145 CIC Remover & Solvent Cleaner
Non-citrus CIC remover and general solvent cleaner for oils, greases, hydraulic fluids. Flash point above 140°F (60°C). May be used in confined areas such as bilges and equipment bays.
BIOACT 145 CIC Remover & Solvent Cleaner is a highly-refined solvent blend formulated to provide robust cleaning performance in aviation maintenance cleaning applications. It is suitable for removing a wide variety of soils in spray, immersion or hand-wipe cleaning applications.
BIOACT 145 has been tested to quickly and effectively remove corrosion inhibiting compounds (CICs) e.g. ARDROX AV-8, CORBAN 23/35. It also removes greases, hydraulic fluids, oils and other hard-to-remove soils. BIOACT 145 is also well suited for surface preparation prior to bonding, painting, plating, or welding and can be used for cleaning prior to non-destruct testing (NDT).
BIOACT 145 is an alternative to isopropyl alcohol, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, and other low-flash-point flammable materials, as well as mineral spirits, d-limonene, chlorinated and halogenated solvents.
